California Joins Research To Speed Use of Low-GWP Refrigerants

California is joining a research initiative spearheaded by the commercial refrigeration industry and aided by EPA and the Energy Department (DOE) to identify the best ways to use refrigerants with lower global warming potential (GWP) than those currently in use but that are also mildly flammable.
