Republican governors in two key Midwestern states -- Michigan and Ohio -- appear to be backing zero-emissions renewable energy even as President-elect Donald Trump is signaling hostility to non-fossil fueled electricity and as voters in those states surprisingly chose Trump over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
