Methane Study Prompts Call For Tighter California Rules For Farms, Landfills

An ongoing study of significant "hot spots" of methane emissions in California showing dairies and landfills as top sources is prompting environmentalists to urge state regulators to consider new or tighter regulations on the facilities to reduce releases of the potent greenhouse gas.
