Industry Urges CARB To Ease Draft HFC-Phaseout Rules Amid Pandemic

Major air conditioning (A/C) manufacturers are pressing California air officials to further delay the effective date of a requirement to reduce high global warming-potential (GWP) hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) in their products, citing negative economic and other impacts from the coronavirus pandemic and potential conflicts with building safety codes.
