DOJ Rejects Claims Its Auto GHG Deal Antitrust Investigation Is Political

A top Department of Justice (DOJ) official is defending his office in Capitol Hill testimony against claims that its antitrust investigation of four automakers that reached a recent agreement with California on vehicle greenhouse gases is politically motivated intimidation by a Trump administration opposed to strict standards.
