The Interior Department (DOI) joined the Obama administration's interagency working group (IWG) on the social cost of carbon (SCC) in advance of its recent addendum adding methane and nitrous oxides (N2O) at the same time the department is conducting a review of the climate and greenhouse gas impacts of its coal leasing program.
