CARB, Industry Advance Joint Plan To Shift EV Rebate System Under LCFS

The California air board, automakers and utilities are advancing a joint proposal to shift low-carbon fuel standard (LCFS) crediting for electric vehicle (EV) charging from an individual utility-based system to a statewide, higher profile "point of purchase" rebate for purchasers of EVs at dealerships.
