California, Three Other States Challenge DOI's Coal Lease Program Restart

Attorneys general (AG) from California and three other states are launching a lawsuit challenging the Interior Department's (DOI) decision to restart federal coal leasing on public land, charging the move was done without a comprehensive review of the climate change and other environmental impacts from new leasing.
