California Sues To Force Disclosure Of ZEV Preemption’s Air Effects

California is launching suit to compel EPA and the Department of Transportation to disclose records supporting the Trump administration’s conclusion that the agencies’ September rule preempting state zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) regulations will not harm air quality, opening another front in battles over the controversial preemption rule.
