Amid Broad Carbon Pricing Support, FERC Warned On State Interference

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is receiving broad support for its proposed policy on state carbon pricing policies in wholesale electricity markets, but environmentalists, state attorneys general (AGs) and others are warning the commission against interfering with how states choose to decarbonize their power systems.
