States: Next VW spending plan focuses on EV charging in California metros

Volkswagen is proposing to spend about half of its next round of $200 million zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) investments in California -- required by the landmark 2016 legal settlement over the company's diesel emissions scandal -- on battery-electric vehicle (BEV) charging in nine metropolitan areas around the state.
