Science: Researchers dispute biomass carbon benefits

As lawmakers weigh legislation to define bioenergy as carbon neutral, three researchers who have long raised concern about the climate impacts of the fuel are warning 100 scientists who signed a 2014 letter on the topic that their words are “being misused” by supporters of the legislation.
