Loose Change: Connecticut sues Exxon over climate ‘deception’

Connecticut is joining the wave of novel climate litigation targeting the oil industry being brought by state and local governments, launching a suit against Exxon Mobil alleging it engaged in an “ongoing, systematic campaign of lies and deception” over fossil fuels’ contribution to climate change.
