Litigation: EPA asks high court to extend deadline in RFS waiver suit

EPA is asking the Supreme Court for more time to submit a response brief in litigation filed by refiners seeking to overturn a federal appeals court ruling barring small refiners from receiving renewable fuel standard (RFS) compliance waivers, which if granted would push any decision by the high court on whether to hear the case into January or later.
