Litigation: Court lifts stay of suit over merits of BLM methane rule

A federal district court judge in Wyoming is lifting a stay of litigation challenging the merits of an Obama-era Bureau of Land Management (BLM) rule curbing “wasted” methane emissions from oil and gas operations on federal lands, and is asking parties how he should proceed in resolving the suit.
