Fossil Fuels: Oil & gas sector introduces voluntary program to limit flaring

An oil and gas sector coalition is announcing a voluntary program to reduce flaring, or burning of excess gases, weeks before the arrival of the incoming Biden administration that is expected to take a tougher line on energy companies’ venting and flaring of climate-warming air pollutants.
