Fossil Fuels: Environmentalists criticize Exxon’s GHG reduction plan

Environmental groups are criticizing ExxonMobil’s new five-year plan to further cut greenhouse gas emissions beyond previously stated targets, saying it does not go far enough to align with the United Nations Paris Agreement on reducing GHGs and that it falls short of commitments announced by energy sector competitors.
