Document: OIG says it did not approve Pruitt's security spending

EPA's Office of Inspector General (OIG) is rejecting concerns from two Senate Democrats that OIG improperly “signed off on” security-related spending by EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt that the office is now investigating, arguing that Pruitt's staff made such spending decisions and not the OIG.
