Document: IG weighs inquiry of Trump EPA’s state enforcement oversight

EPA’s Inspector General (IG) is considering launching an investigation into how the agency oversees states’ enforcement of the Clean Water Act (CWA), following California lawmakers’ call to review the Trump administration’s dispute with the Golden State that led to allegations San Francisco was violating its CWA stormwater permit.
