Congress: Industry-environment coalition urges passage of HFC deal

A coalition of industry and environmental groups is pressing House and Senate leaders to finalize long-pending bipartisan legislation that would give EPA new authority to phase down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs), potent greenhouse gases used in refrigeration and numerous other applications.
