Congress: Democratic lawmakers probing funding for climate change doubters

The New York Times reported yesterday on efforts by House and Senate Democrats to find out more about who's funding "scientists who publicly dispute widely held views on the causes and risks of climate change." The letters follow revelations about Harvard scientist Willie Soon, who is said to have received funding from the oil industry for his research into climate change, but not disclosed it fully.
